Everyone should be aware of and try to understand the types of risks we may face in West Yorkshire. In doing so, we can all ensure we take steps to be better prepared for any emergencies or major incidents.

West Yorkshire Prepared regularly carries out risk assessments to review the types of risks facing our region. A Community Risk Register has been developed, which provides an overview of the main risk areas for West Yorkshire, and aims to help communities be better informed, prepared and able to respond to an emergency. The Community Risk Register is also available as a PDF to download and in an accessible format).
